Founder & Director of Fetal Medicine and Genetics Centre, Gurgaon, Dr. Shreyasi Sharma has over a decade of experience in the field. Dr. Sharma completed her post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh followed by DNB and fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. A Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF UK) accredited specialist, she has experience in conducting over 2000 fetal procedures.
Fetal Medicine & Genetics Centre was born out of Dr. Sharma’s passion for bringing the globally accepted standards of care to address the gaps in Fetal Medicine in India. Her special interest lies in fetal therapy, early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities, high risk pregnancies and genetics.
Dr. Sharma specialises in pre conception counselling, pregnancy ultrasounds (including 3D/4D), prenatal Diagnosis by amniocentesis / CVS/ cordocentesis and complex fetal interventions like intrauterine blood transfusion, fetal reduction, fetal shunt placement among others.
She has won multiple awards for research. She has also been awarded as one among 100 inspiring Gynecologists of North India by ET Health world.
Dr Sharma has numerous publications in national and international peer reviewed journals. She has also authored chapters in various books and is an invited faculty on reputed forums.
